A little bit about this great organization:

The Trinity River Improvement Partnership (TRIP) is an organization of organizations. TRIP is a 501(c)3 organization (application pending)  and separately, a PAC.   Our unified goal is to ensure that we fully examine projects surrounding the Trinity River, in and around Tarrant County, to make sure that we make the best use of our resources.

That includes our financial resources, property rights and natural resources!  We want to answer these questions when new or existing projects are brought to the table:

• How will this affect flood control, not just around Downtown Fort Worth, but upstream and downstream?
• How is our water supply and clean drinking water being impacted?
• Is this the best use of our limited finances? What’s the Payoff and who gets paid off?  Who ‘ultimately’ foots the bill?
• How does this impact my tax bill?  My water bill?
• How does these projects impact historical sites?
• What is the environmental impact associated with these projects?
• How can we improve the environmental hazards associated with the Trinity?
