Jason Rink

Jason Rink is a contributing author of “Ron Paul: A Life of Ideas,” the biography of Congressman Ron Paul. His work has also been featured on the anti-war, anti-state, pro-market website Lewrockwell.com.

Though not a personal fan of FOX News Channel, Jason has appeared as a guest on FOX Business Channel’s ”America’s Nightly Scoreboard” , the FOX News program ”On The Record with Greta Van Susteren,” and “Freedom Watch” with Judge Andrew Napolitano.

Over the course of the last ten years, Jason has been a pastor, a grassroots political activist, and a professional speaker.  He has spoken over one-hundred times to audiences of all ages, ranging from 20 to 20,000 in attendance  on a variety of topics such as State Sovereignty, the U.S. Constitution, Early American History, Political Activism, Money and Economics.

Jason is currently the Executive Director of The Foundation for a Free Society, a 501c3 non-profit, educational organization in Austin, Texas.  They teach people how to be free.

He lives with his wife of 12 years, Tisa, his 11-year old son, Ethan, and dog named Rocco.

John Bush

A little bit about this great organization:

Common Ground America is a multi-year effort to establish active chapters in every legislative district in each state. In Texas, for instance, there are 150 districts with elected representatives in the state legislature. The goal of Common Ground Texas will be to have 150 chapters in the state of Texas by the end of 2012. Simultaneously, as we grow and learn, we will expand Common Ground into other states, with goal objective of having at least one chapter in every state by November 2012.

What is the role of a Common Ground chapter? Essentially to act as a liaison to elected officials, principally state reps and senators. This will mean establishing working, cooperative relationships with not only the elected officials but also their staffs in order to advance legislation in keeping with CGA’s principles and values. The chapter will act as a watchdog to ensure that legislators are acting in keeping with the wishes of their constituents, so a chapter leader will need to have the ability to accurately reflect the views of the residents in that district and effectively communicate those views to elected officials.

Ideally, a chapter leader will have the ability to recruit others to assist in the process and grow the chapter so that it develops relationships with other elected officials within its domain: city council members, local school boards, mayors, county commissioners, judges – anyone conducting the people’s business.

What will it take to be an effective chapter leader? Foremost, the ability to persuade on a non-partisan basis. There is much misinformation disseminated about particular bills and the legislative process, misinformation based primarily on rumor and misunderstanding, some of it deliberate. A Common Ground chapter must be seen as an accurate and unbiased source of information so that voters can be fully informed about what is happening in their state capitol, county court or city hall.

The ultimate goal will be for CGA to be a national organization influencing policy decisions not only in city hall but in Washington DC. CGA will raise and spend money in support of candidates who believe in limited government, individual liberty and personal responsibility.

The Trinity River Improvement Partnership (TRIP) is an organization of organizations. TRIP is a 501(c)3 organization (application pending)  and separately, a PAC.   Our unified goal is to ensure that we fully examine projects surrounding the Trinity River, in and around Tarrant County, to make sure that we make the best use of our resources.

That includes our financial resources, property rights and natural resources!  We want to answer these questions when new or existing projects are brought to the table:

• How will this affect flood control, not just around Downtown Fort Worth, but upstream and downstream?
• How is our water supply and clean drinking water being impacted?
• Is this the best use of our limited finances? What’s the Payoff and who gets paid off?  Who ‘ultimately’ foots the bill?
• How does this impact my tax bill?  My water bill?
• How does these projects impact historical sites?
• What is the environmental impact associated with these projects?
• How can we improve the environmental hazards associated with the Trinity?

It’s been our experience that most people who find themselves involved in local politics have a history of serving their town, state, or country. Ed Tidwell is no exception. FAQ:

Are you really delivering custom sites?

A: Yes.  When you order, you’ll choose from a layout and then specify a color scheme and a header.  We’ll work with you on a reasonable number of revisions and then your site will be live.  Your site will be up and it will have the capacity of taking money within 24 hours for most merchant banks.  Of course, we can’t control the speed that they process requests and if you don’t have your bank set up we can work with you in between.

Q: How do you do all this for so $797?

A: Well, there are a lot of similar elements that campaign sites need.  Since we’ve built so many, we know that this is the case and we deliver each one with the basics that they all need.  The rest is essentially plug and play.  We have our servers and control of the whole environment so we’re able to be held accountable for better results.

Q:  I want to host on my webserver.  Is this possible?

A: Yes, it’s possible.  We’ll generally charge a nominal fee ($50-100) depending on your server’s configuration.  We can’t offer refunds when we deploy our sites on your server, and we’re generally going to be a little slower to respond because we’ll have to log in to your server, etc.

Q: What Happens To My Hosting After 6 Months?

A: We charge $100 for every 6 months for support and hosting.  Since most campaigns don’t run that long, it’s included in the price.  A lot of our people want to move beyond normal campaigning.

Q: What If I Want To Reuse My Political Site after the fact?

A: Check with your election laws, but you own the copyright, and so you can change your site afterwords.
