The Ron Paul Guide To Not Selling Out.

Nobody accuses Dr. Ron Paul of being part of the system.  He’s been an effective advocate for liberty going on 40 years now, and he is his own man.  Since he was mentioned and profiled years ago by Larry Elder and others, he’s been a congenial and kind driving force for liberty…

…and he’s doing it within the Republican Party. Nobody on the right accuses him of anything but integrity and loyalty to the principles of the Republic and constitutional government.  Nobody lambasts, mistrusts or says that Ron Paul is a shill for the Military Industrial complex.  So, what are the takeaways from Ron Paul that make him bullet proof:

  1. He’s always, always congenial: Ron Paul is passionate, but you never see him get angry.  First person to find a youtube video of him being petulant or displaying low character gets $50 bucks.  He challenges people, and yet he never loses his cool.  Takeaway: never lose your cool
  2. He’s always prepared: He’s had the occasion to question people like Henry Paulson, and he’s ready to go, he’s got his points ready, and he’s on message.  The facts and figures that he has at his command are impressive.  Takeaway: preparation and competence leads people to believe that you have integrity.
  3. He’s on message: Even within the Republican Party, he’s got a voice.  He’s here to pursue the agenda of liberty, and he’s not going to get distracted by political scandals, he’s not gonna be tarred and feathered.  When people try to take him off message, he moves past them quite quickly, and answers the questions he wants to.  Takeaway: spread news about liberty.
  4. It’s not about him, it’s about liberty: He is here to talk about freedom and liberty, from appearances on Comedy Central to his work in congress, he’s not about himself.  He’s about liberty.  I’m sure he’s made money and I’m sure that books like End The Fed pay him.  But it’s only because he’s about liberty first that he’s able to win.  Takeaway: it’s about liberty, freedom and not ourselves.
  5. He’s Big Picture Oriented: He’s perhaps the most dangerous man in America, and he’s deft at handling the media.  He’s ready to see the different attacks that the pros make and he doesn’t get offended or rattled.  He just rolls with whatever the punches are and moves forward.  Glenn Beck used to take shots at Dr. Paul, and now he’s a regular on the show.  He didn’t make Glenn Beck apologize, he just knew that the beck audience was worth it, so he went on despite having been called a “kook.”   Takeaway:  we’ll all encounter jerks, and we don’t need to make people bow to us, we all screw up, let’s be gracious and let’s get past the inevitable screw ups.
  6. He Trust Liberty To Do The Persuading: Our message is the truest and best.  It takes the statists massive amounts of lies and wrangling to share their message.  Liberty is persuasive, and he’s ready to share the “What ifs,” on a variety of topics.  He’s thought through the issues, and is ready to share them.  Takeaway: stay plugged in here and at other great sites (http://f4fs.org)
